Women in East Africa Can Now Access Free Legal Support for Workplace Abuse – EUSMS Initiative

EUSMS Launches Free Women Justice & Workplace Protection Services Across East Africa

At EUSMS, we believe that empowering a woman transforms a workplace and a nation.

We’re proud to announce the official launch of our Women Justice & Workplace Protection Services, a bold new program offering free and confidential legal support to women across East Africa who have faced workplace abuse, harassment, discrimination, or unjust dismissal.

This is more than a service. It’s a movement.

A Silent Crisis – Now Confronted

Too many women in East Africa suffer in silence, facing:

– Sexual harassment or gender-based violence at work

– Discrimination related to pregnancy or motherhood

– Verbal abuse, coercion, wage theft, or illegal termination

– Biases based on appearance, marital status, or gender roles

These injustices are often normalized or ignored – leaving women vulnerable, unsupported, and silenced.

That ends now. EUSMS is stepping in to say: You have rights. And we’ll help you claim them.

What the Program Offers

Led by the EUSMS Legal Team and rooted in our mission of justice, this new initiative includes:

  • Free Legal Counseling – Confidential consultations with experienced professionals
  • Evidence Gathering & Case Review – Support in documentation and legal assessment
  • Mediation & Representation – Tribunal and court representation where needed
  • Employer Engagement – Ensuring accountability and protection through formal processes
  • Litigation Support – Legal action in substantiated cases of abuse or discrimination

Available now in Kenya and expanding to Uganda, Tanzania, and the broader region.

Because silence should never be a woman’s only option.

Why This New Program Matters Now

The cost of injustice is high and it’s often paid by the most vulnerable. With women making up a large part of the informal and formal workforce in East Africa, the lack of access to justice when things go wrong is more than a legal gap, it’s a societal failure.

This new legal service isn’t an add-on. It’s a cornerstone. Every woman deserves to work with dignity, safety, and equal opportunity.
